  • A lackluster "sequel", this film pits Kong agains a Mecha-Kong in a battle for... not much at all.

De Laurentiis and Jackson Films

• King Kong (1976)
  • The first attempt at a remake, this film lacks the style and substance of the original.
• King Kong (2005)
  • Peter's Jackson's take has a lot more heart to it but frequently gets lost in all its spectacle.

MonsterVerse

• Kong: Skull Island
  • Kong is reintroduced in this big action epic that does an okay job with the ape even if the film feels a little hollow.
• Godzilla vs. Kong
  • Godzilla and Kong square off again in a film that much more stupid than fun.
